We currently stock one tempered glass for this model. Anti-glare and privacy films are available via third parties. Happy to advise on the right variant — a 9H tempered glass with 2.5D edge is the simplest and cheapest protection.
Apple does not offer an official Magic Keyboard for this model. Third-party Bluetooth keyboards (with or without stand) are the alternative — they pair via Bluetooth and work on any iPad.

The iPad (10th Gen) is Apple's major basic iPad redesign from 2022 with the A14 chip and an LED Liquid Retina 10.9″ display. First basic iPad with major redesign — Touch ID side button instead of home button, USB-C port instead of Lightning, 10.9″ display without the chunky bezel. Front camera in landscape orientation for video calls. Note: this category points to the same physical device as the iPad 10.9" (10th Gen, 2022). A14 chip in iPad (10th Gen) [ipad-10gen].
Four case types are popular. Smart Folio folds front and back as a magnetic folio. Smart Cover only covers the front. Hardshell cases in PC + TPU offer better drop protection for school and travel. Leather cases look elegant. Sleeves and carry bags are useful additionally. Important: cases from the iPad (9th Gen) with home button and Lightning do NOT fit — the 10th Gen [ipad-10gen] is a completely new chassis design. Cases from the iPad 11" (2025) or 10.9" (11th Gen, 2025) usually do NOT fit either — cutouts vary.
Three protection types are common. Tempered glass offers the highest protection. Anti-glare films reduce reflections. Paper-feel films have a matt, slightly textured surface that makes writing and drawing with the Apple Pencil noticeably more pleasant — almost like paper. A must for notes, sketchnotes and illustration apps such as Procreate, Notability or GoodNotes.
The iPad (10th Gen) [ipad-10gen] is compatible with Apple Pencil USB-C and Apple Pencil 1 (with USB-C adapter). Apple Pencil 2 and Apple Pencil Pro are NOT compatible — they are reserved for iPad Pro and iPad Air. Apple Pencil USB-C is the cheapest option without pressure sensitivity. For regular drawing, choose Pencil 1 with pressure sensitivity.
For the iPad (10th Gen) there is the official Apple Magic Keyboard Folio — a detachable folio with trackpad and function row, designed exclusively for the 10th Gen. Alternatively Bluetooth keyboard folio cases such as the Logitech Combo Touch or standalone Bluetooth keyboards.
The iPad (10th Gen) has a USB-C port. You can connect external SSDs, 4K monitors (via HDMI adapter or USB-C hub), USB-C hubs with HDMI/SD card reader/USB-A and power-delivery adapters up to 30 W.
