5G is available on A74 5G, A77 5G, A78 5G, A79 5G and A98 5G. Older and some current A models (A57 4G, A16s) are pure 4G devices. On the Swiss network the 5G A models support the important n78 band.
At moderate use 1.5–2 days standby plus 6–8 hours screen on. Streaming and gaming reduce runtime to 5–7 hours. Low battery pressure thanks to mid-range SoCs.
No — the A series does not support Qi wireless charging at all. That is a premium feature of the Find line. Cable charging via USB-C SuperVOOC (33 or 67 W) is standard.
The A 5G models (A74, A77, A78, A79, A98) support n78 with 3.5 GHz, the primary 5G band of Swiss carriers Swisscom, Sunrise and Salt.
Oppo A models typically receive 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security patches. Current 2024 A models partly promise 3 years of OS updates.

Oppo A57 (2017) launched as 4G entry with plastic design. A57s (2022) brought 6.5" LCD and 5000 mAh. A74 5G (2021) first 5G in the A series. A78 5G (2023) AMOLED 90 Hz. A98 5G (2023) 120 Hz display and 67 W SuperVOOC. Models from 2022 onwards support 5G on the Swiss network (n78). Focus on every Oppo A model is battery life — averaging 1.5–2 days with moderate use.
