Guide & know-how
Wireless and MagSafe chargers at RPD for iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods. The new Qi2 standard is essentially MagSafe — magnetic alignment plus 15 W on iPhone 12 and newer. We stock single MagSafe pads, 3-in-1 charging stations that charge iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods at the same time, plus classic Qi pads (7.5 W iPhone / 15 W Android) without magnets. Adapter matters: MagSafe needs a USB-C PD 20 W source, otherwise it only charges at 5 W. Same-day dispatch from Basel by 4 pm, free above CHF 15. 2-year Swiss warranty, invoice payment available (credit check by Powerpay).
Qi is the original wireless standard (5 W default, 7.5 W iPhone, 15 W Android). MagSafe is Apple's 2020 magnetic standard (15 W on iPhone 12+). Qi2, launched 2024, is the open successor — uses the same magnetic alignment as MagSafe and charges at 15 W. Practical: Qi2 chargers work with all MagSafe iPhones plus Qi2-certified Android devices.
3-in-1 stations charge iPhone (MagSafe), Apple Watch (magnet puck) and AirPods (Qi) at once on your bedside table — ideal for Apple users. Single MagSafe pads are compact for travel and office. Car MagSafe mounts charge while driving at 7.5 W (in CH often limited for safety). Stand models hold the iPhone upright — perfect for FaceTime and StandBy mode (iOS 17+).
MagSafe chargers require a USB-C PD 20 W adapter, otherwise they only charge at 5 W. Apple Watch Series 7+ charge with 5 W fast charging, Ultra with 7.5 W. AirPods Pro 2 / 3 with USB-C case also charge via MagSafe or Qi. Comparison: wireless is about 30 % slower than wired USB-C PD — but more comfortable.
We only stock wireless chargers with CE marking, foreign-object detection (FOD) and over-temperature protection. Aluminium housings dissipate heat well, non-slip silicone surface protects against scratches. Foldable travel 3-in-1 models fit in carry-on.
