USB-C, Lightning, Micro-USB and audio cables at RPD for all common devices. Since iPhone 15 (September 2023), Apple has replaced Lightning with USB-C — the older interface is being phased out across the Apple universe. We stock USB-C cables from 60 W (3 A) up to 240 W (5 A) with USB-PD 3.1, MFi-certified Lightning cables for iPhone 5–14 and older iPads, rugged nylon-braided models in 1 m / 2 m / 3 m lengths plus 3.5 mm audio and headphone-jack adapters. Same-day dispatch from Basel by 4 pm, free above CHF 15. 2-year Swiss warranty, invoice payment available (credit check by Powerpay).

No — the iPhone 15 has USB-C. You need a USB-C-to-USB-C cable or a USB-C-to-Lightning adapter.
MFi (Made for iPhone) is Apple''s licensing programme. MFi cables contain an authentication chip, work reliably with iOS and won''t be blocked by updates.
1 m on the go, 2 m for sofa and bed, 3 m for longer distances or in the car.
60 W (3 A) is enough for smartphone and tablet. 100 W is needed for MacBook Pro and fast notebook charging.
Shipped from our Basel warehouse — A-Post 1–2 working days, express next business day or free in-store pickup. Free above CHF 15.
iPhone 15 and newer: USB-C for data and fast charging. iPhone 5–14 plus older iPads and AirPods Pro 1: Lightning — we recommend MFi-certified models (Made for iPhone), which contain Apple's security chip and won't be blocked by iOS updates. Android phones and modern laptops: USB-C. Older Android phones: Micro-USB. Audio gear: 3.5 mm jack or USB-C-to-jack adapter.
60 W (3 A) is enough for iPhone, iPad and smartphones. 100 W (5 A USB-PD 3.0) fast-charges MacBook Air and Pro 14″. 240 W USB-PD 3.1 is required for MacBook Pro 16″ at full power, gaming laptops and workstations. Note: even the fastest 240 W cable only charges your iPhone at its 20 W max — overloading is not possible.
For charging only, USB 2.0 (480 Mbps) is enough. For data transfer (photos, backups) you need USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) or better. Thunderbolt 4 cables reach 40 Gbps and can drive 8K displays — clearly labelled.
Nylon-braided cables last twice as long as plain PVC, kink less and look better. Standard lengths: 1 m on the go, 2 m for sofa/bed, 3 m for the car. MFi Lightning cables and USB-IF-certified USB-C cables guarantee safety and compatibility.
