Screen protector lifting at the edges: causes and what actually helps

If glass lifts at the edge, check fit, case contact and visible dirt first. Not every lifted protector can be reattached. Stop working on cracked glass or sharp edges. Factory film on a foldable’s inner screen differs from ordinary added tempered glass.
Patterns are clues rather than diagnoses

A hot day alone does not prove softened adhesive. A new case coinciding with lifting is initially a clue. Glass and case together explains edge clearance.
Check both parts
Remove the case carefully without levering glass. Check whether fitting it contacts the glass edge. Contact disappearing without a case points to the combination, but does not heal dirty adhesive. Items purchased together only fit when model and combination approval support it.
For cases, clearance beside glass matters. Case Friendly describes intended compatibility rather than a promise for every case. 2.5D and 3D alone prove neither exact fit nor adhesive type. Check adhesive coverage separately in the product specifications.
When corrections make sense
Some makers allow gently smoothing small air bubbles or limited lifting for dust. Do not automatically transfer that procedure to your glass. Avoid touching adhesive or adding household glue or solvents. Pressure, tools and waiting times follow specific instructions rather than universal seconds or hours.

Foldable inner screen: service guidance first
Do not press, peel or cover lifting factory inner film with ordinary tempered glass. Samsung warns that arbitrary removal or application can damage the panel. Clarify replacement through the maker or suitable service. Actual display damage also needs assessment before adding protection.
