Yes — ANC and Transparency activate automatically when you put them on. The Smart Case puts the AirPods Max into an ultra-low-power mode but isn''t required for ANC. Without the Smart Case, standby battery life is slightly lower.

The original AirPods Max (2020) use Lightning, the 2024 revision moves to USB-C — both are available with us. Apple doesn't ship a power adapter so you need your own USB-PD adapter.
