It depends on use: for the keyring a sturdy silicone or leather case with carabiner suits. For handbag or wallet, slim leather card or loop holders are ideal. For bike or backpack: stainless-steel holder with screw-fix. Always look for the speaker cut-out.

Quality holders have a cut-out at the AirTag speaker. Cheap no-name holders without cut-out muffle the locating sound noticeably — avoid those. When buying, check that the case does not cover the speaker.

Yes — mini carabiners in aluminium or stainless steel easily hold a keyring with 5–10 keys. Climbing-certified carabiners are not needed — they cost more and are heavy. Pick a screw-locking gate when attaching to a backpack.

Magnetic clips come in two halves — one is worn on the waistband or belt, the other on the keys. Brought together, they hold magnetically. Note: do not carry them next to bank cards or magnetic stripes since strong magnets can damage them.

Many models offer initial embossing — for a few francs extra. At RPD models with embossing are noted in the product detail. Personalisation usually takes 1–2 working days.
