The classic rotating stainless-steel bezel is a central design element of the original Galaxy Watch — it is vulnerable to scratches when bumped or in contact with keys. A hydrogel film on the display and ideally a bumper case protect the premium stainless-steel finish and preserve the watch's value.
The original Galaxy Watch 42 mm targets lifestyle fans, business users and collectors. For swimmers sport silicone — chlorine- and saltwater-resistant, 5 ATM. Marathon runners benefit from sport silicone. Business users pair stainless-steel link bracelet or leather. Lifestyle / fashion prefer Milanese or stainless steel.
