The Galaxy Watch5 (2022) brings a skin temperature sensor, a 13% larger battery and sapphire glass. 44 mm is the larger option. Repair typically CHF 200–400 — a band from CHF 19 is a cheap upgrade.
The Galaxy Watch5 (2022) is the mainstream Galaxy Watch — aluminium case, Wear OS and new health features like skin temperature sensor and 13% larger battery. Plus all Watch4 sensors: ECG, BP, BIA, SpO2. 44 mm is the larger option with 20 mm lugs. Sapphire glass (also on the regular Watch5) offers better scratch resistance than Watch4.
Standard 20 mm quick-release. We carry directly for the Watch5 44 mm the following DUX bands: DUX YA Strap in black, brown, grey, pink and red — robust sport silicone with discreet stainless-steel accents — and DUX Mix Pro Strap (20 mm) in red, midnight and multicolour as well as 22 mm variants in black and clay. Sport silicone is the default for training, swimming and outdoor — Milanese and leather also available in the 20mm hub category.
The Watch5 44 mm targets men, athletes and health trackers. For swimmers sport silicone — chlorine- and saltwater-resistant, 5 ATM. Trail runners and hikers choose Trail Loop. Marathon runners benefit from sport silicone. Business users pair Milanese or leather. Outdoor / hiking users choose Trail or Marine style. Travellers rotate two or three bands — Quick-Swap takes 5 seconds. Sustainable options: bands made from recycled silicone and vegan-leather alternatives are available.
The round AMOLED display is vulnerable to scratches in daily use — hydrogel films (for curved displays) are the right choice. Display repair typically CHF 200–400 — protection from CHF 7 pays for itself on first key contact.
