Three protection types are common. PET film is the cheapest, decent against everyday scratches but thin. Hydrogel film is flexible and conforms to Apple Watch''s curved glass right to the edges — ideal, since the glass is not flat. Tempered glass offers the strongest scratch and impact protection but can lift at the edges on heavily curved models. Press the small button on the back of the watch (band release) and slide the band out of the rail sideways. Push the new band into the same rail until it clicks. Make sure both halves of the band (top and bottom) are seated. It takes seconds and needs no tools.
